FIXED MARRIAGE

THERE SHOULD NOT HAVE FIXED MARRIAGE/ARRANGED MARRIAGE.  WE SHOULD MARRY BECAUSE OF LOVE.

     

 Can you imagine that you’ll be marrying the one you love? And being with that person with the rest of your life? Isn’t that great that you’ll be having a happy and fruitful life because you have married the right person. 

       It is always great to marry the one we love. It is the love why a person should marry. There is no sense if you are not marrying the one you love and forcing yourself to marry a person just because your parent wants to.

    Why marry if you don’t love that person?  That will be useless.

As we have argued in our debate in public speaking, they've said that there is nothing wrong with fixed marriage. In fact, fixed marriage helps a family to be practical in life. And they've also said that it is good because there is clear parents consent for a couple to be married.  

     If being practical is the reason why they have to marry, can’t they be practical in their own? As we all know it is all about their business, their deals and other thing that involves money.

On that thing that they’ve said that there is a clear parents consent in fixed marriage, I’m also sure that even not in fixed marriage there also a consent of parents.

    The other team also said that “what if it ends in divorce?” .  And we reply that surely it is not love why they get marry. I think there is more possibility in a fixed marriage to be divorce someday, because at first you don’t love the person that you’ll be marrying that’s why it can lead to divorcing.

    And if divorce happen, there will be a broken family. If there’s a broken family, there will be more burdens in the society. And it will be harder for a person to be a single parent especially if they already had kids. There will be the one that will suffer the most.

    But if we do the right thing, for sure the marriage will work. The marriage will last long because of the reason that you truly love that person. As this saying tells us that LOVE CONQUERS ALL meaning no even one problem can destroy a marriage. Even death is not a reason for a person to stop loving his/her partner.
